Policy overview
30-day full in-store coverage
For the first 30 calendar days beginning when the Ready for Pickup or Repair Completion notice is sent, a validated claim receives in-store repair or replacement coverage for the qualifying part purchased from and installed by 1010Computers.
Prorated part credit and check-in freeze
After day 30 and through one year from that notice, the qualifying part may receive prorated replacement-part credit. An official warranty check-in freezes the available credit during inspection and evaluation.
Evidence-based exclusions
Physical or liquid damage, misuse, third-party work, unrelated failure, and software conditions affect coverage when documented evidence connects the condition to the claim or prevents validation. A missing or altered label alone does not automatically void coverage.
Prospective policy
This version applies only to qualifying parts approved on or after its effective date and time. It does not change historical tickets, invoices, messages, or other customer records.

1010Computers Limited Hardware Warranty
EffectiveAugust 8, 2026 at 9:02 PM EDT
The 1010Computers Limited Hardware Warranty applies to qualifying hardware parts purchased from and installed by 1010Computers. It provides 30 days of full in-store repair or replacement coverage, followed by prorated replacement-part credit through one year, subject to inspection and validation.
1. Qualifying hardware coverage
Coverage applies only to a qualifying hardware part purchased from and installed by 1010Computers and identified in the applicable estimate, invoice, receipt, ticket, or completion record. Client-supplied parts and unrelated hardware or services do not qualify under this policy.
During the first 30 calendar days, the covered remedy is full in-store repair or replacement of the qualifying part when inspection validates a covered failure. This includes the in-store labor reasonably required to correct the covered installation. Pickup, delivery, mobile service, travel, data services, unrelated diagnostics, and unrelated repairs are not included unless documented in writing.
2. When coverage begins and ends
The warranty clock begins at the local date and time when 1010Computers sends the Ready for Pickup or Repair Completion notice for the qualifying repair. Delayed pickup does not delay or extend the warranty period.
The first 30 calendar days provide the full in-store coverage described above. From the end of day 30 through one calendar year from the sent notice, only the prorated replacement-part credit described below remains available.
An approved repair or replacement under this warranty does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless 1010Computers expressly documents a new period or extension in writing.
3. Prorated replacement-part credit
After the first 30 calendar days and through one year from the sent Ready for Pickup or Repair Completion notice, the qualifying original part may receive replacement-part credit based on the unused portion of the one-year term. The available credit equals the original eligible part charge multiplied by the unused portion of that one-year term.
The prorated credit applies only toward an eligible replacement part. Diagnostic charges, removal or installation labor, shipping, taxes, travel, data protection, unrelated work, and any difference between the available credit and the current replacement-part price remain the client's responsibility unless a written transaction record states otherwise.
4. Official warranty check-in and credit freeze
An official warranty check-in occurs when 1010Computers receives the device or covered part for warranty evaluation and records the warranty return against the original service record. At that check-in, the available prorated replacement-part credit is calculated and frozen.
The frozen credit does not decrease or expire while 1010Computers performs the warranty evaluation. The freeze preserves only the available credit; it does not approve the claim. Coverage and any remedy remain subject to inspection, validation, and the exclusions in this policy.
5. Inspection, validation, and exclusions
1010Computers must inspect the device, covered part, service record, and available evidence before approving coverage. A claim may be denied or limited when documented evidence shows that an excluded condition caused or contributed to the claimed failure, changed the covered part or installation, or prevents reasonable validation of the claim.
Physical damage, impact, liquid exposure, corrosion, contamination, heat, fire, power events, misuse, neglect, accident, or other external conditions when the evidence connects that condition to the claimed failure or prevents reliable testing.
Repair, disassembly, tampering, modification, or part replacement by the client or a third party when it caused or contributed to the problem, changed the covered work, or prevents verification.
An unrelated or pre-existing hardware failure, normal wear, a consumable item, a cosmetic condition, or another component outside the qualifying part and covered installation.
Software, operating systems, malware, data, accounts, settings, subscriptions, licenses, product keys, activation, third-party applications, software conflicts, or other software conditions that are not a defect in the qualifying hardware part.
A missing, damaged, or altered serial number or Warranty ID label is not an automatic forfeiture of coverage. It may affect coverage when the available evidence connects it to tampering, third-party work, a changed part, the claimed failure, or an inability to validate the claim.
6. Requesting review and available remedy
Open or update the original 1010Client Portal ticket as soon as a concern appears. Provide the invoice or receipt, describe the symptoms, and disclose physical or liquid damage, software changes, misuse, disassembly, or third-party work that occurred after service. Do not authorize another person or company to alter the covered work before 1010Computers has an opportunity to inspect it.
If inspection validates a covered failure during the first 30 calendar days, 1010Computers may repair the qualifying part, reperform the covered in-store installation work, or replace the part with a comparable new or refurbished part. After day 30 and through one year, 1010Computers may apply the frozen prorated replacement-part credit toward an eligible replacement part.
If the claim is not covered, 1010Computers will explain available fee-based diagnostic or repair options before additional chargeable work proceeds.
7. Effective date, prospective scope, and prior records
This version applies prospectively only to qualifying hardware parts approved on or after the effective local date and time shown above. Parts or services approved before that cutoff remain governed by the terms documented for that transaction.
Publishing this policy does not rewrite or change historical tickets, estimates, invoices, receipts, completion notices, customer communications, or other customer records.
A separately documented product, plan, manufacturer, or transaction-specific warranty may provide different or additional coverage. This policy does not limit rights that applicable law does not permit 1010Computers to limit.
